One of the younger races of the Burning Suns galaxy, the Terrans are a versatile species noted for their ability to thrive in almost any situation.

Biology

Terrans are a primate mammalian species. Relatively short-lived by galactic standards (compare guardian, leviathan, neomorph, templar) their lifespans in current time have the highest averages in their species' history, at around 100 years. A gregarious and highly social race, they excel at building communities and integrating into existing social structures.

Although the race is referred to as terran by most of the other species, the terrans tend to refer to themselves by their own species name, human, and the usage has spread through Assembly space to be interchangeable.
